What SEO practitioners are missing is the fact that a highly-ranking search result that does not engage offers no value. One of the best tools available to help you measure the success of your SEO campaign is Google Analytics. This fantastic and free tool can be used to monitor how much traffic you’re getting to your website and where this traffic is coming from. You can easily identify pages that are working well for your business, as well as highlighting areas for potential improvement. If you are linking your site with any spammy or bad site due to any reason, make it a no follow link, otherwise Google will not spare you. In order to get the authoritative links that Google respects and sustain your search rankings, you need to concentrate on getting contextual links (i.e., links surrounded by relevant content).
You don't need special search engine pages
Once you’ve discovered your evangelists,
think about ways to nurture and encourage them. At the simplest
(and possibly most meaningful) level, find a way to thank them
for spreading the word about your company. It makes sense to
use Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources
are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths
or ABC. Its that simple! the same keywords in titles and headlines, simply because a single page should always define it's topic as exactly as possible. This means there will always be only two or three main keywords any given page will need to be optimized for. Search engine experiences are becoming increasingly personalized. That’s why it’s important for businesses to focus on long-tail and location-based keywords—so that audiences can find your company based on the exact value and service that you provide. Selective internal linking and relevant content can augment keyword stemming (where a site begins to rank itself – page by page through themed links and content) without relying solely on inbound links from other websites.
Make sure that your site is listed in all relevant local directories
A content hub is a set of content (usually web pages) organized around a specific topic (usually a central page). It could be a category on a blog or a section of pages on a website. The clear majority of
websites gear their SEO strategy toward traditional search engine keyword searches carried out by typing. The SEO benefits of social media, in my opinion, should be seen as the by-product of a strong social media strategy, not the core objective. In turn, SEO’s need to understand the wider role social media plays in connecting with an audience at each stage of the buying journey. Technical SEO is an often misunderstood discipline that many find difficult to pin down in exact terms.
The more engaging your copy, the better
Whether it is writing the most useful article about a certain topic, or ensuring that your eCommerce system is easy to use, it is important to make sure site visitors have a positive experience, because only then will they stick around. Keyword research can prove to be one of the most high return activities, not only in SEO, but in search marketing as a whole. Selecting the right keywords and strategically placing them in key areas of your pages isn't rocket science, but it does take a little time and dedication. When you link to reputable 3rd parties in your website, you are indirectly benefitting your SEO in many ways. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant
: "In Google search results, you only have space for 70 characters in your title. If your title is longer than that, it gets truncated (meaning the end will be “….”). (Previous estimates put this number at 50 to 60 characters, but Google recently expanded the width of the search results, and therefore can show slightly longer titles.)"
You must use text links, not image links - true or false?
The job of an SEO specialist doesn’t stop with a couple of website tweaks and a few links scattered around the internet. Instead, the specialist has to be on the ball, constantly looking for trends like those noted above and finding new ways to maximize website traffic. Google is getting better
every day at recognizing—and rewarding—high-quality content. As defined by Google and humans, valuable content is useful, informative, better than other content on the same topic, credible, original, and engaging. You have complete control over anchor text on your own website, and you should use it to your advantage. But you don’t really have control over what text people use on other websites. Make sure that the links you build are natural and that Google doesn't conclude that you're trying to manipulate its search algorithm.
